EA Raiders

First pressed upon by the Horde, then the Legion and now the Lich King we have taken up arms and closed ranks. We stand united in the defense of our lands. Those Epic Adventurers and our allies will meet the enemy in fields far and near and our words will ring true... "With quarter neither asked nor given."

To this end we vow fealty to each other. Our strength derives from diversity. All members are free to voice opinions and beliefs, so long as they remain respectful of others.

We will set the standard to which others will measure themselves. Honor being prized above all, we will exhibit honesty, valor, and class in all of our endeavors. We recognize we travel under the banner of EA Raiders and will not shame or disgrace our brothers and sisters in arms.

Epic Adventuers is an older World of Warcraft guild, having existed in WoW since right out of beta, created from a core of individuals who played together under the same tag in Everquest. Epic Adventurers embrace the ideas of friendship and fun, and marry those concepts with competence and excellence in our endeavors inside the game of WoW. We hold a firm belief that we can progress and see all of the in game content while still maintaining our fun and friendly atmosphere. We seek people who are good humored, patient, mature and competent to play with and raid with. At our core we are a group who prizes respecting each other and we seek to do so internally as well as externally.

We are not a hardcore raiding guild and raiding is not mandatory, but definitely encouraged amongst our ranks. We have currently completed all ten man content except for Malygos, and have begun hosting 25 man runs, to see this version of the content and to develope a larger raiding force for future content. These runs have been quite successful and we have made a lot of new friends in the process. We have a recruitment period for new applicants during which they will be tagged and interact with our members to determine if they are the right fit for us and likewise, us for them. If you have met an done stuff with out folks or have read our page and think we may be a good match for you, feel free to apply. We will accept lower level members if they are a good fit, so feel free to apply.

All in all, we like to have fun and play with the group we have, be it working through an heroic, to raiding something retro like Ony to working to topple the arch lich, kel'thuzad. if you think you match up with what you have read here, we look forwards to seeing more of you.

A few weeks ago, I talked about the impact of removing Insect Swarm from balance druids' toolboxes. I was pretty positive about the change; in my view, Insect Swarm was mostly superfluous, as the times you would use it independently from Moonfire were few and far between. Removing it was a welcome simplification to the rotation. Several commenters took an opposite view, however. To them, removing IS (along with some of the other changes) took things too far, and made the spec boring to play.
